Fenja 6 mo. old Female
If you know anyone looking for an awesome new family member, we're looking for a home for Fenja, the 3 legged wonder pup. She's in now 6 months old and absolutely full of herself. Fenja is a beautiful, 100% German bred (both of her parents are German imports) female Rottweiler with a natural tail. She's very well socialized -- she's been to the vet lots of times and loves everyone she meets. She has been raised with small children and other puppies her age. She has an excellent temperament with tons of prey drive (if it moves, she chases it!). She is very trainable and could probably do almost anything a 4 legged dog can do. Her rear leg was amputated when she was just 5 weeks old due to a massive infection, so she really doesn't know she's "different". She is a very special puppy and deserves a home where she will be super spoiled. Therapy work would be perfect for her, especially with kids. She must go to an experienced Rottweiler home that understands dominance and high prey drives and is able to provide the leadership she needs.
She will be spayed and microchipped before she leaves here and that's the only thing I would ask her new family to pay for. She is up-to-date on all of her vaccinations and wormings. If you know of anyone that is interested in the wonder pup, please have them contact Christina at 360-687-7180 or via email at RKRotts@earthlink.net We are located near Portland, OR.

Roxie 10 month old Female
Roxie, or Roxanne, she listens to both, is a ten month old female with
a natural tail. She has beautiful markings and an adorable face.
Roxie is spayed, both house and crate trained and knows the basic
commands. She doesn't beg and is very content with just her dog food.
We know she does well with kids ranging from 8-16, but aren't sure how
she would be with younger children. She does well with other dogs for
visits, but hasn't lived with another dog. She is a very active dog
and loves to play, her favorites being fetch, swimming (with a little
help) and basketball. She loves to go on walks and rides in the car.
We adore her, but one of her owners is very allergic and she needs to
get more attention than we can give her at this time. We don't want to
make her an "outside" dog. She very much wants to please and be part of a loving family.

Mangus 6 year old Male
Currently we have a Rottie named Magnus (id number 151873) that came to our shelter August 12 as a stray. Magnus has a microchip (046097844) but the owner chose not to come and redeem Magnus.
Magnus is affectionate, quiet and loves to be petted. He is housebroken, walks well on a leash and knows "sit."
Because the shelter is running at near capacity we are concerned that Magnus may not find a home. We have lobbied kennel staff and he is to be neutered this week and have his ears cleaned (due to chronic ear problems) but we are concerned his gray muzzle and breed will prevent prospective adopters from taking the time to find out what a great guy he is. Is it possible you could rescue Magnus? If you could, we could help with transport. Contact Ellen

Jack young Male
We have a Rottweiler that was surrendered by his owner by the name of "Jack." He was a ranch dog, lived outside most of his (short, I believe he said he was only 2) life and allowed to run where he wanted. This led to his run-in with a cat, and the reason why he was surrendered to us because he really likes to play with cats in the bad way. We have an absolutely full kennel right now and I'd like to see him get a second chance before we have to euthanize him.? I've enclosed a picture, you can't see it but he has a bonus extra foot of dog attached to his rear, I think they call it a "tail" because it wags a lot. Kennel Attendant

Grissly 4 year old Male
Grizzly is neutered and has all of his shots. He knows his simple commands (sit, stay, down, heal) He grew up in Butte county by a loving family. He loves people and gets excited whenever meeting someone new. He loves to go for walks and enjoys being brushed. His old environment was about an acre of land, but he is easily adaptable. I took him when the couple's daughter was born and they no longer could pay enough attention to him. They were going to put him to sleep and I couldn't let that happen. Since I have had him we moved to Vallejo and I recently found out that I cannot have him at the apartment that I am renting. My hopes are to find him a loving family that will give him attention and appreciate what a loyal and loving dog he is. Please help me give Grizzly all that he deserves. The best number to reach me at is 707-342-8308 and email misstiggerbell@gmail.com.
