Mili 2 year old Female

Posted 5/2010
Milie is staying in our boarding facility at Mueller pet hospital in Sacramento. for the time being, she goes out for 1-2 play groups a day with the big dogs and seems to do really well. We are working on training, she is very food motivated but not aggressive ) She is extrememly energetic now that she is feeling better and I have a feeling she'll be staying that way as long as she is on her meds. To the best of our knowledge she is housebroken, has not tested her with cats yet but it is on my list to do. She LOVES people and is was enthusiastic with children and very playful (Timid children would probably be easily overwhelmed by her; She was brought into the hospiital because she has addisons disease and her owners did not want to spend the money to treat her. she is doing great. She is spayed and fully vaccinated and we are now working on her obedience. Due to her disease she will need medication for the rest of her life. The medicine, Percorten, is about $125 per month. As long as she stays on it she should be fine. for more information on Milie please call Mueler pet hospital in Sacramento at 916 428 9202

CrimsonAdopted 11/10
Crimson & Onyx adult Male & Female
Posted 9/22/10

We have a male and a female Rottweiler, brother and sister, who have been in our Shelter since early July. Onyx and Crimson were seized by local Animal Control Officers due to a cruelty complaint (underfeeding, and the owner kept them in a laundry room). The owner was convicted and sentenced a few weeks ago, and we would like to get these beautiful animals into more suitable surroundings. The two can be separated. Onyx is a neutered male, approximately 85 lbs., great with people, barks at the other dogs through his kennel fence, and has not interacted with the other dogs. Crimson is a spayed (we believe) female, approximately 65 lbs, also friendly with people but also barks at the other dogs, and likewise has not had other dog interaction. cbennett@flathead.mt.gov Onyx

Adopted 4/2011
Teddy Bear 9 month old male

This is Teddy Bear, he is about 9 months old. He is neutered, heartworm negative, micro chipped and UTD with his vaccines. Teddy was surrendered by his owners because he did not grow up to be a watch dog and that was the reason he was purchased. He lived in a garage and never knew what a toy or a warm bed was. Teddy Bear is a dwarf with special needs. Like people, he did not grow and weighs in at about 47 pounds. He will always look like a puppy and walks a little like a penguin which is adorable. Because he is small, he prefers not to be knocked around by other dogs although he loves to play nicely with people, cats and dogs. Teddy is a quiet boy and is very soulful. He appreciates everything around him. He loves to go for a walk and will stay right by your side. He walks slowly and does not run. Teddy Bear needs to be a indoor dog. He is crate trained and housebroken. His perfect home would be with someone who was around a lot and wants a steady, beautiful companion to just hang out with. If you leave the car door open, he will climb inside. Rides are his very favorite thing. Teddy Bear has a hard time with stairs and although he can handle them, later on in life, they may present a problem for him to go up and down. Teddy Bear will need thyroid medication for the rest of his life which costs about $10.00 a month. He will need blood work done once a year to check his thyroid levels so that medication may be adjusted if need be. This little boy has been through a lot and deserves only the best.

If you have only the best to give, then please contact Judy at judy6453@att.net or call her at 916 -933 3349 Teddy is located in the El Dorado Hills area
