 Rosie Female
We rescued out a 5-6 year old Rottweiler from the "pound" in San Luis Obispo about 8 weeks ago. She came in very thin, looked like she had had a litter of pups not too long ago, skin issues, worms, etc. We felt, given her condition, that she was not adoptable (and most likely would have been put down), but she has such a sweet temperament we knew she was more than worth rescuing.
We currently have her in a loving foster home. We have spent almost $500 getting her healthy, spayed, wormed, cleared up the skin issues, and treated her for geradia(sp?) Rosie is now VERY healthy and needs a permanent home. She's good with other dogs, people/kids. She is on the smaller side (about 55-60lbs), her coat looks great now. She will chase cats, but we think it's more about play than wanting to hurt them. We are located in San Luis Obispo.

 Alex adult Male
Alex" is a Shepherd/Rottie mix boy with an outstanding personality! He was either dumped or got himself lost in W. Sacramento. He was hanging around a business for about three, four weeks. Someone felt sorry for him and started putting some food out. The man tried to foster him in his yard, but Alex knew just how to get out. He would be seen again roaming the streets and came close to being hit by a car. He's so good with other dogs and thinks people are all that...thank goodness! This cute boyu is also good with cats! We hate to see him bounced around any more than need be, but he needs to be safe. He's being fully vetted today including heartworm tested and microchipped. Alex's in need of a permanent home or a foster home. He's well mannered and very receptive to listening and ready for training. He's a busy, active healthy dog.
